Find Out How Much Traffic any Website Receives

September 11th, 2008 by chris Leave a reply »

If you do any kind of business online or own a blog and are trying to compete for search engine rankings, then there’s a great tool for you to use that’s free and can be found online.

The tool is a very basic internet traffic estimator that gives you a pretty good idea of how much traffic a given website gets over a thirty day period.

I’ve used the tool with several different websites that I already have a rough estimate of traffic for already, and this tool was pretty close to being right on every time.

The tool can be found at TrafficEstimate.com and all you have to do is put in the URL of the site you want data for.  If you are an internet entrepreneur, this is a pretty good way for you to gauge how much traffic a competing site receives.

I read your articles quite often because they are written in an understandable style. So I can learn them although I come from Germany and have any problems to interpret English stories.

    Great Article!

If I could write like this I would be well chuffed ;-)

The more I read articles of such quality as this (which is rare), the more I think there might be a future for the Web. Keep it up, as it were.

Affiliate programs allow you to generate income from your site or blog’s content and traffic, allow you also to become a sales person for some other website’s product, service or content.

Finally, I found the information I was searching for–traffic generation tips and how to find out how much traffic competing websites get. I have been doing research on this subject, and for four days I keep finding sites that are supposed to have what I’m searching for, only to be disappointed with the lack of what I had to have. I wish I could have located your website quicker! I had about 30% of what I was looking for and your web-site has that, and the rest of what I needed to complete my research. Thank you and I will report back on how it goes!

I need a good way to get more traffic to my site not see how much other sites are getting. SEO and traffic are the hardest things.

Jack – That’s great. I’ve been dipping my toe in buying and selling sites. By that I mean that I’ve been doing a lot of research and learning how to evaluate sites. I haven’t bought any sites yet, but I hope to very soon.
