I have used hubpages myself for promoting other sites that I own and have seen them do quite well. The authority hubpages carries with Google is great for getting indexed quickly as well as having the site rank high with very little effort on the writers part. I do hope that people don't spam the crap out of it as they have with squidoo. Squidoo has suffered quite a bit in recent times from spammers taking advantage of a good thing. Most of us are on here to make a few bucks, but if you abuse good tools they will get banished from the graces of Google and become worthless to all. As you mentioned hubpages does a fantastic job of policing their network, but I have seen quite a few pages fall through the cracks.I'm sure they will be caught eventually , let's all hope that by hubpages moderators first and not by Google as this could mean a lot less authority in Googles eyes. That could be a catastrophe for all the excellent writers at hub pages. and by the way there are quite a few that are very prolific at what they do. there is quite a menage of writers that earn a nice living using hubpages and I can honestly say , i think they deserve it. So to all interested in using hubpages to generate revenue, please write good informative articles and don't just spam the system for personal gains.
